    This trip is the best way to experience kayaking in San Francisco, especially when you have limited time.

    We paddle to world-class postcard-perfect San Francisco waterfront, along with magnificent structures and landmarks in the bay. Your guide takes you through; San Francisco downtown, Bay Bridge, Cupid’s Span, Ferry Building, Fireboat house, McCovey Cove (AT&T Park), Lefty O’Doul Drawbridge, Mission Creek houseboats. You might also see; Treasure Island, harbor seals, migrating birds, and sailboats out on the bay.

    Our attentive guides will ensure that you are comfortable and explore the most scenic route. We have 70 kayaks to choose from to give you the most stable and fitting kayak. A small group setting will give you plenty of attention as well.

    Advanced paddlers will have opportunities to explore more areas on fast single kayaks. This is a leisurely paced kayak trip for adults. Youth under age 18 should paddle with an adult.

    Prerequisite

    No paddling experience is required, and beginners are welcome.
    You must be able to do 5 push ups.
    Recommended weight range is between 80 lbs and 220 lbs.
     

    Includes

    Performance touring kayak with rudder*, dry jacket, spray skirt, paddle mittens, life jacket, touring paddle, dry bag (for your camera).

    *Such kayaks are superior to sit-on-top (rental) kayaks in several ways; comfortable seats, fast and dry kayaking experience.
     

    Paddle Length

    The trip starts with 1 hour of gear up, briefing, and instruction. You will explore on the water for 2 hours.
     

    What to Wear

    Water resistant pants, wind jacket and shoes that can get wet.
     

    What to bring

    Change of clothes and comfortable shoes in case you get wet. Also recommend: dress in layers, hat, sunglasses, sunblock, contact lenses (better than prescription eye glasses), moisture wicking garment (rather than cotton), and bottled water.
     

    Refund, Change, Cancellation Policy

    • INDIVIDUAL : 24 Hour Policy – You can change or cancel a reservation up to 24 hours before the event. You will receive money back after transaction fee(5%). Please call or email to ask for a refund. After which you will be charged up to $20 per person for change or cancellation.
    • GROUP : 7 Day Policy – You can change or cancel a reservation up to 7 days before the event. 20% daily deduction afterwards. After which you will be charged up to $20 per person for change or cancellation.

     

    Tips

    You could get motion sickness if you are tired, hungry, hung over, or just sensitive to motion sickness. If you are sensitive to motion sickness, eat ginger before the trip or drink carbonated water.
     

    Gratuity

    You are encouraged to tip the guides if you feel they go above and beyond their duty. 15% gratuity is recommended.
