About Us

    Location

City Kayak's main location is at South Beach Harbor. The shop is inside Pier 40. Look for our kayaks in the back of the pier.

City Kayak also runs kayaking trips from Pier 39 slip A21 at scheduled times.

    Parking

We recommend public transit if you are traveling within the city districts. Taxi, bus, bike, or MUNI are convenient ways to get around the city. However, for those arriving by car, there are a few parking options available:

South Beach Harbor

Two hour free visitor parking is available to customers, but they are often full on weekend afternoons.

If you plan on being on the water for more than two hours, you can purchase a parking permit at the harbor office (second floor of the big wooden building) or from the security guard on duty.

There is some street parking nearby, and many areas are free on Sundays.

Pier 39

The Pier 39 parking building is the nearest parking available.

    Open Hours

City Kayak is open year-round.

Closed holidays are: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, First day of the year.
